4 Gifts to keep your Dogs happy this Christmas!

As Christmas isn’t that long way and having 3 dogs ourselves, we have lots of ideas for presents to get your dog. Here are a few ideas you can treat your pups to this year!

1. Coats

A dog coat is a very good idea for your pooch, especially in the wintertime. Dogs who have fine or thin fur e.g. Greyhounds, whippets, chihuahuas, French bulldogs are more prone to the cold weather faster than other dogs. Also, dogs that are very young, underweight, old, or unwell.

Having a coat for your dog will prevent them from getting wet if it starts to rain/snow when you are out walking them. This will also stop the wind from hitting them and making them feel cold.

2. Beds

Why not treat your fury friend to a new soft place to sleep.

As dogs spend as much as half their days asleep, 30% awake but relaxing

and just 20% being active. You want to make sure you dogs’ bed is big enough for them to lay and relax in. Like us you might have more than one pooch and they all love a cosy bed to lay in. So, you need to make sure you have a bed for each of them. Some dogs may need special types of beds due to health issues etc – you can get great memory foam beds for them!

3. Toys

Dogs LOVE to play. Having 3 fury friends ourselves we know how quick dog toys can get destroyed! Depending on what toys your dog likes to play with and what you like your dog to have – here are some great toys for them…

· Kong teething toys

· Kong wubba

· Kong air squeaker America football

· Tennis ball – Tennis ball thrower

· Rope toys

· Bite toys

4. Treats

Just like us, dogs love treats! Why not treat hem this year to a selection of yummy dog sweets. Some great treats you can get them are…

· Pedigree chews

· Bonio

· Pure salmon

· Lilys kitchen

· Wagg

· Dental bones

· Bones

If you wanted to make more natural treats for your pooch you could do…

· Green peas – Frozen or fresh is great

· Carrots – full of vitamins

· Broccoli – high in fibre, can be raw, cooked or steamed

· Watermelon – tasty and hydrating but remove and seeds
