Slip leads-
Durable dog slip lead with adjustable loop collar, this comfortable leash
supports all sizes of dogs. Slip leads are great for when training a dog,
especially if you are teaching your dog to heel or they are a working dog. Heeling a dog on a slip lead is so much better in my opinion, this is because you don’t have to put loads of pressure on a dog’s neck when actually heeling and all you have to do 'pop' the lead a couple of times and the dog should understand.
When you put a slip lead on your dog remember the side you will be standing, the slip lead needs to be facing towards you. We sell slip leads in different length, width, and colours; (lime green, blue, black, purple, red, dark green.
Whistles
When taking your dog out for walks, in my opinion you should take a whistle. This is
because the sounds of a whistle can travel longer distance then a voice can. These are also great for recall, and can be used for training and commands, e.g.- sit/stop.
A dog whistle will not harm your dog’s ears, you can also get different pitch whistles for different dogs/ commands. We sell ACME dog whistle pitch 210.5 with whistle strap.
Dog waste bags-
Now this is quite an obvious one… you should always take dog bags out with you every time you take your dog out. No one wants to be stepping in any mess your dog has made. You have to think before you don’t scoop the poop, if it was you walking down the street and you stood in another dog’s mess… you wouldn’t be very happy, would you?
Also, the bacteria in dog waste can spread diseases to other dogs and even if it’s not cleared up properly. On our website we sell bio-degradable dog poop bags, this is great as you are clearing up your pooch’s poop while saving all the plastic from using bio-degradable bags instead. Dog training treat bag-
Using a treat bag is very handy when training or just walking a dog. These pouches you just clip onto your belt loop, and you are off. You can put any sort of treat in the bag for you dogs, we use sausages normally. This will help with walking your dog to heal, recall, sit, lay and many more!
